Who Can Join?

The Veterans of Foreign Wars welcomes veterans who have served honorably in military combat operations abroad. VFW membership is limited to veterans with combat service experience.

Eligibility requirements:

• U.S. Armed Forces service member with combat service abroad
• Service during eligible wartime or conflict periods
• Honorable discharge from military service
• Must have received a medal, badge, or other decoration for service

How to Join

1. Find your local VFW post using LegionFinder
2. Visit your nearest VFW post
3. Bring proof of honorable discharge and combat service documentation
4. Complete the VFW membership application
5. Pay your annual membership dues
